Welcome to Emotional Liberation. Let’s get oriented to the course.

Here is what to expect each week:

  • You will get a weekly reminder email with call-in information for the Group Call.
  • Go to the Course Membership Page – this is your virtual Classroom – which has the week’s topic and assignment, as well as all you need for the week.
  • Every week you will get a new topic and reading assignment from the textbook. This first month we will cover 3 chapters, subsequently only one each month. So the reading is a bit more at first. Start your reading early in the week, so it can sink in.
  • In the Classroom you will find the week’s new video of 60 to 75 minutes. Watch the video when you have the time and space to focus, relax, and practice. Have your book with you; the video follows the assigned reading. Every video leads you through one or more meditations; fully participate to have the experience! Take this class as soon as possible to learn the weekly meditation, which you will continue daily until you begin the following week’s video and meditation.
  • Daily meditation. The practice listed in bold in the weekly assignment is for you to do every day. It will be at least 11 minutes a day, up to 31 minutes. Use the text to guide yourself, or do it with the video by cueing up to that place, or use the audio version available for you to download to your phone or iPod.
  • Write about your experience in the meditation. In the book, most every meditation finishes with a prompt to “Capture your Gains” with a question or two so you will jot down a few notes. It is very beneficial to have this cumulative record to learn from. If you like to journal, that is a nice place to record significant experiences from your meditation. You see, great guidance will come to and through you, and this is often forgotten, or takes time to understand. Hold on to the gold that you find!
  • The Classroom contains a Weekly Study Sheet to complete and return to me by noon the day of the call. It has questions to highlight main concepts and space to share what you are learning from the material and experiencing in your life! You can download the Word doc to complete and return electronically to me via email.
  • Wednesdays at 4:30pm Pacific Standard Time are our weekly Group calls. This is the most fun, and our primary point of live contact. Please come ready to focus and share. Give yourself this time and minimize multi-tasking on the call. Ask questions, get coaching, share yourself, learn from others.   • The audiobook can be listened to instead of reading. You can also practice the meditations along with the audiobook.
  • These resources are to support you, not overwhelm you. I will encourage you to participate fully for maximum benefit, but it for you to find a rhythm that fits your life. So be all in with no guilt about your participation. I am here to serve you. Do stay in touch and let me know when you will miss a call, need some help, or have a situation.
  • You have the right to confidentiality and privacy by the group leaders and other group members. Confidentiality within the group setting is a shared responsibility of all members and leaders. While Facilitators in Training (FITS) may consult with GuruMeher or with one another, all staff are ethically and legally bound to treat that information confidentially.
