Our mind has the ability to anticipate future needs and to remember past desires, both fulfilled and unrequited. This can give us a great advantage in taking care of ourselves, but very often results in becoming lost in a world of fantasy and the pursuit of outdated wants. By working consciously with this powerful energy that comes to us through desire, we can accurately understand what it takes for us to be content today.
